Episode 23:Lauren and Shaina: Sisterhood and the Fear of not Belonging

Everyone longs for unconditional love and acceptance.

In our world that is conditioned to judge, so many of us have felt like we don't belong. People strive for money, fame, and power in an attempt to feel worthy.

When we act according to these preconceived notions of what we should be like, we are unable to form real relationships.

In women’s circles, we are reminded that we are worthy. We are reminded of our connection to the earth and to every living being. It’s a safe space to do inner work with a sisterhood that won’t reject your vulnerability. Little by little, we learn to let our facades go as we heal from our wounds. Women’s circles teach us how to embody our truths as well as how to receive other people’s truths. Through the practice of listening, we make our sisters feel seen and heard—just as we are seen and heard. Interactions between authentic selves give way to deeper connections and infinite possibilities.

Do you feel inspired to start a sisterhood? Would you like to hold space for other women? Global Sisterhood invites you to join the Called to Rise event to know more about the power of feminine leadership. We would also like to invite you to register for the Circle Initiation program where you learn to fully step into your true self and in the process, further, hone your communication skills.
